Biography
Houssem Eddine CHEBBI is an associate professor in quantitative methods and an agricultural economist.
He joined the Faculty of Economics and Management of Nabeul (FSEGN) at the University of Carthage in September 2008 from the Higher Institute of Business Administration at the University of Sfax (ISAAS). He taught graduate and undergraduate courses in Statistics, Econometrics and Forecasting Methods.
He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Zaragoza in 2002 (Faculty of Economics and Business Studies, Spain) and a Master of Science in agro-food marketing in 1998 from the International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM); as well as a Diploma in Engineering in 1995 from the Horticulture High School of Chott Mariem (ESH) in Tunisia.
His research works and papers focus on the linkages between macroeconomic policies and the agricultural sector and agro-food competitiveness. Chebbi’s research interests include also environmental aspects of the economic growth.
